I am a first year optometry student at Cardiff University. I enjoy drawing and reading, and the occasional badminton or volleyball game! My favourite book is Babel by RF Kuang and my favourite movie is The Sound of Music.
I have experience in teaching children in many different areas: working as a maths tutor for 2 years, teaching children to use contact lenses whilst working at Specsavers and giving guidance to my students whilst working as an art assistant in Art K for 4 years.
I like to help break down complex problems into more easily understandable steps. I am patient and can communicate clearly with students, especially when helping them with tricky exam techniques or questions, and am keen on active recall/mini tests to ensure previous knowledge is well understood.
