I am passionate about serving people in any area that allows self development growth to take place. As a wellbeing engagement officer and a Youth Mental Health Instructor, I support young people to be part of the solution. I organise community and charity events. In addition, I enjoy reading, travelling, sport activities such as dancing, jogging and fitness exercises.
I have been working in education since 2009 as a Teaching Assistant, Pastoral Officer, Attendance Officer, Cover Supervisor and Wellbeing Engagement Officer- assisting students from secondary education to sixth form. I have done private tuition for primary, secondary school and sixth form students in the past.
My approach to tutoring involves, being disciplined and consistent in learning; coming along students to support and encourage them every step of the way. In addition, using various resources that caters for different needs. For example: practicing past papers to help in understanding a given topic; also using online resources to help with learning and modelling what is learnt on paper.
