Hello there, aspiring students! I am delighted to introduce myself as a passionate medical student, eager to take on the role of your tutor and accompany you on an exciting journey towards academic excellence. Currently pursuing my medical degree at the prestigious Imperial College London, I bring with me a wealth of knowledge and experience, having achieved exceptional grades in subjects like Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics during my A-Levels. As an outgoing personality you will definitely find my lessons enjoyable and be able to build confidence in the subject. With a commitment to helping you reach your full potential, a love for teaching, and a passion to guide your future, I am the tutor you need to elevate your understanding of these subjects and pave your way to dream universities and those coveted A* grades.
With over 5 years of experience tutoring students of various levels, I have achieved at least a minimum of a 2 grade improvement in the first 3 months of teaching.
As an experienced tutor, my teaching style is characterised by its dynamic, personalised, and student-centered approach. I firmly believe that every student is unique, with different learning styles, strengths, and areas for improvement. Thus, I tailor my teaching methods to accommodate each individual's needs, ensuring that they receive the most effective and engaging learning experience. I use powerpoint and Goodnotes to illustrate key concepts and working out to not only make it engaging but easy to understand.
We will first look and ensure the foundations are firm within the subject and build up from their. We will look at difficult concepts within the topic and have assessments throughout to solidify that understanding. If you have any topics that you want to specifically want to cover first, let me know and I will get the appropriate resources to efficiently use the session.
For interview sessions we ensure the answers for the basic questions are perfect and then cover the knowledge and how to apply it to more complex questions. Continuous improvement, confidence and understanding what the interviewer wants to hear is imperative in being successful these kind of interviews.
