Hi there I'm Ashrith, an undergrad studying Computing at Imperial. I specialize in teaching Maths, Computing and Physics from KS2 to A level. I can also provide tuition for English from primary to GCSE level. As a grade 8 flautist, I can also provide music tuition up to GCSE.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked for 1 year at Explore Learning where I taught English and Maths from ages 4-16. Within my university applications, I have received offers from many Russell groups such as Bristol, Warwick and Bath. On top of that, I have undergone interviews with both Cambridge and Imperial- so I can provide interview prep and personal statement help as well. I have also received A*A*AA in Maths Further Maths Physics and Computing

Tutoring Approach

I focus on understanding above all. Sure you can do past papers and practice questions but without grasping the essence of a concept success cannot be achieved in mathematics. Each tutoring session will start with a starter testing topics learnt. Then, depending on the student and subject, I aim to go through new content or guided practise of challenging but doable problems. This process when repeated again and again sharpens the problem solving ability and makes the student a better grasper of new concepts.
