I am a second year University student studying Politics. I studied Government and Politics at A-Level, alongside Sociology and Business. Due to this, I understand the exam structure and content for A-Level Government and Politics.

Tutoring Experience

As a 2nd year A-Level student, I helped those who were beginning their A-Level studies. I spent time explaining critical political concepts which can be confusing at times. Additionally, I helped my fellow peers at University who had struggled with some modules or had never studied the subject before.

Tutoring Approach

I prefer to observe what the student understands and identify any knowledge gaps they may have. After this, I will patiently use a variety of teaching methods including short knowledge quizzes/tests to identify whether knowledge gaps have been filled or if further teaching methods are required. Further, I prefer to teach exam structure and technique so that students understand what to expect on their final examination. I am more than accommodating to any student's teaching preference which I can adopt and merge with my own to provide the best possible tutoring experience.
