Tutoring Experience

I have limited formal teaching experience but have done short term one to one tutoring with people before and long term with one college student who struggled academically completing their access to higher education qualification in both maths and physics.

Tutoring Approach

Richard Feynman, perhaps the greatest teacher of physics to ever live said, "if you can't explain it to a 6 year old, then you don't understand it yourself." I believe that the greatest ability in any mathematical subject requires understanding, and lots of people cannot gain that from the 'one size fits all' approach to teaching we have in schools. I would aim to instil understanding and build from there
