I'm a university graduate with a first-class degree in Biochemistry BSc. I have 1 year's worth of tutoring experience in GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Maths and I teach both in person and online.

Tutoring Experience

I worked for 6 months as part of a tutoring scheme run by my local council, tutoring 3 GCSE students in Biology and Chemistry. I have subsequently tutored 2 students privately in Maths. All of my students achieved at least one grade higher in their final GCSE exams than they were predicted.

Tutoring Approach

I like to tailor teaching approach to each individual student based on their needs and learning style. I use a variety of different methods, trying to cover as many learning styles as possible to reinforce students' understanding of difficult topics. I also like to use exam questions and past papers to consolidate students' learning, test their understanding and apply context to the topic areas covered.
