Antoine

Antoine has been a really dedicated tutor! He takes time out of his busy schedule to prepare for all lessons in detail to give me quality lessons. He’s also very patient and polite whilst teaching me, and I strongly recommend Antoine to anyone looking for a university tutor!

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with this tutor as even though he is knowledgeable in
some areas he is not organised and not good at teaching, he lives in Paris which needs to be clarified to parents before purchasing details, also he mentioned he can teach Economics but that is not the case as once details were purchased, we mentioned about doing lesson for Macro economics he mentioned that he can do it but it has been 2 years since he last studied Macro. On his profile it showed £35 charged for Uni lessons but he mentioned that his rates have gone up to £40 and literally within one week again he has increased his rates to £75ph. Initial lesson was arranged last week but due to not being able to cover fair amount in one hour we decided not to have any more lessons as my daughters exam is within few weeks and I explained that to Antoine that we need tutor who is able to cover lot more and will pay £40 for his lesson but need to get £24.99 back from first tutor first to which he wasn’t very happy and sent very rude wts app message disturbing whilst I was at work demanding to be paid for his one hour lesson even though he didn’t do much in that lesson, I would not recommend this tutor to any one as he has great profile but cannot teach and very unprofessional. I have used First tutor many times before and have always found really great, polite, experienced and professional tutors for various subjects but sadly on this occasion we ended up with tutor who doesn’t have any of the above.

Antoine, has been very helpful. My son has a working memory issue and has needed some support with understanding topics in university econometrics. Antoine is a good communicator and has been very patient - they have been working on skype.

Perfect timing, well educated.
He has a strong basis in mathematics, statistics and economics.
Also, he is very well in delivering the information directly and straight to the point.

Antoine is great! I was even scared about my quantitative methods for economists exam prior to meeting him for tutoring. The guy has some amazing mathematical skills, as well as micro and macro Economics, which are the subjects that I am learning from him. He always does his best and is flexible when necessary. Thank you very much for the help you've given me so far Antoine, I have improved enormously and am a lot more confident!
