I studied French and Spanish Literature at Oxford University. I am am passionate about literature and languages and would love to help you find your voice.
I can help you with speaking, writing and reading in the languages as well as essay technique and structure, exam advice and revision tips for French, Spanish, and English.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a languages teaching assistant for primary school children and year 11s in French and Spanish at a top Grammar school in Essex and year 11s.
I have worked abroad in Costa Rica and France and would love to share not only the language, but the culture too.

Tutoring Approach

When teaching languages, I like to make lessons fun and interactive as well as ensuring you attain a good grip on the grammar. Grammar, tenses and conjugations can seem daunting, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve (from my own experience!) on how to make grammar approachable and easy to understand. I will play videos, use audio clips, role play and make fun end of lesson quizzes to help you progress with each lesson. :)

Teaching English literature, I like to ensure your voice is heard in your essays. I will show you how to structure your creativity to make a robust and convincing argument. I start with free-flowing discussions to get you to practice how to approach a piece of text- whether that is Shakespeare or poetry.
