I am an experienced Head of Department and I have taught A Level Psychology for 21 years. I am a Senior A Level examiner and have examined for a range of exam boards for 20 years. I can also assist with A Level Sociology, Level 3 Criminology and Politics.
I have over 20 years of teaching experience in the state and independent sector at secondary and tertiary level. Teaching a range of subjects including Psychology, Sociology, Criminology and Politics. I am also an author of a Psychology textbook. I have experience of proving face-to-face tuition and tutoring online. I have also worked for an well established tutoring company offering intensive tutoring prior to exams. As a former Head of Careers and Higher Education , I am also available to offer advice on university choices and personal statements.
I am a friendly and approachable teacher. I believe in establishing a good relationship with tutees. I take the time to get to know students strengths and weaknesses and I am adaptable to their needs. Be prepared to work hard and do lots of past papers with me. If you are not resident in Jersey, I am able to tutor online usually for a lower fee.
