My name is Anna and I am a fully qualified Primary Teacher, currently working on supply within East Dunbartonshire Council. I am an experienced, enthusiastic and friendly teacher who is committed to helping students reach their full potential in literacy and numeracy.
I graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2022 and completed my probationary year in 2023, where I taught a Primary 5 class, gaining full registration. Since then, I have worked as a raising attainment teacher, supporting individual pupils with additional support needs. I have excellent experience of teaching the Scottish Curriculum from early to second level and am experienced in supporting children with varying needs and abilities.
Additionally, I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Stirling University in 2019 and graduated with a first class honours.
I am a friendly and approachable individual. I will work with every student to identify their strengths and areas for development. I understand that every individual learns in different ways and will use a variety of resources and teaching methods to help them achieve their learning goals.
