I am an experienced Primary School teacher with a PGCE from the University of Cumbria. I have worked with children with SEN and additional needs as well as those who are EAL learners so I am comfortable with differing my approach depending on individual circumstances. Furthermore, I am a reliable and dependable person who is great at time management.
Please get in touch if you have any further questions!
I have 8 years of experience as a qualified Primary School Teacher in which time I have also led subjects including Science and Computing. I have taught across both key stages so I am comfortable with using different techniques of teaching in order to keep the learner interested and engaged.
I have also supported children with preparation for success in their SATs (Years r2/6), Phonics tests (Year 1) and Times Tables tests (Year 4) with great results building up their self-confidence and resulting in an improved attitude to learning.
I follow a child centred approach where differentiation for individual needs is very important. I believe in educating the whole child in a caring, empathic way and am committed to developing and getting the best from children by being patient, understanding and having mutual respect.
