Andy is a good professional who knows his subject very well. My son enjoyed lessons with Andy and has definitely benefited from them. However, it has often taken a long time to get a reply from Andy. I think he is very loaded with work.

I am an adult student who needed to re-sit my maths GCSE in order to enrol on a teaching course. I have always been a bit intimidated by maths but Andy was encouraging and supportive from the first lesson, helping to improve my confidence and motivation. Beyond sharing his knowledge during our sessions, he also shared excellent resources for self-study and had good advice on how to approach revision. Highly recommended.

A fantastic teacher, Andy’s positivity really helps my daughter with her confidence and she finds lessons with him really beneficial.

My son enjoyed the lesson v much but not had a reply to my email for 2wks and not sure if we are continuing?

Hi Andy,
we have paid the initial fee of £14.99 but haven't heard anything since. I presumed everything was ok but this message has been prompted by First Tutors.
As far as we are aware you will be coming to see Ella on Mon 10th Sept. Can you confirm a time now or nearer the date ?

Tomorrow my son Sam who finished year 11 in July, will collect his A level maths results. This would not have happened had it not been for Andy .

Andy came highly recommended and rightly so. He has been absolutely brilliant. My son's school were unable to provide a teacher for Sam so we contacted Andy about 4 weeks into the term and he agreed to tutor Sam.

On arrival Andy immediatley put Sam at ease and we have not looked back. Andy knows his subject inside out and has bent over backwards to help Sam, continuing to visit even when suffering with a chronic back problem and had difficulty walking.

He entered Sam in maths challenges and did all the admin. Andy has also advised Sam and ourselves on the continuation at Sixth Form and beyond.

I cannot praise Andy highly enough, highly committed, highly competent, one of the best teachers I have ever met. Thank you Andy.

I would highly recommend Andy for private maths tutoring. Andy is an outstanding tutor, and is passionate about enabling students to achieve the best results. With Andy's way if instilling confidence in students, my daughter achieved a C in her foundation maths GCSE. I am 100% sure that she would not have achieved this without Andy's support.

Andy is an excellent and patient tutor. Despite an A* grade at GCSE, our daughter found the step up at AS level surprisingly difficult, and the speed of teaching uncomfortably fast. Andy has helped her to understand the different topics, to learn how to consolidate her new knowledge and has restored her confidence. He is so experienced and it is a huge relief to know that she is now getting the support and encouragement she needed. We are very grateful.

Andy has help my son with his GCSE maths,he visits you at home and has helped him in most topics. In a short time my son says he has learnt more with Andy than his normal maths teacher.A VERY GOOD TEACHER and i would recommend to anybody.
