I am a passionate and experienced Religious Education teacher dedicated to helping students develop their understanding of philosophy ethics, and religion. With 15 years of teaching experience, including my role as Head of RE, I have supported students of all abilities in deepening their knowledge, improving their critical thinking skills, and achieving academic success.

I specialise in preparing students for GCSE and have previous experience of A-Level Religious Studies, offering tailored support to build confidence in key topics such as ethical theories, religious beliefs and practices, and philosophical arguments. My approach is student-centred, ensuring lessons are engaging, interactive, and adapted to individual learning styles. In addition to teaching RE I teach GCSE Sociology.

I am a current examiner for Edexcel for both Christianity and Islam papers and have recent experience of marking for OCR and AQA too. I am available for both in-person and online tutoring sessions and can offer flexible scheduling to accommodate students’ needs. My approach is very flexible and I will incorporate the strengths and weaknesses of the pupil in to the sessions. Subject knowledge, subject skills, exam skills, easy writing, coursework and controlled assessment assistance offered.
