Maths and Physics Lessons in Wolverhampton

I am a devoted teacher with a Ph.D. in theoretical physics, and postdoctoral experience at Max Planck Institutes and the University of Padua with prestigious research scholarships. I am also a respected researcher in Artificial Intelligence powered Healthcare and Econometric modelling Removed a niche area for future jobs and vocations.

Growing up in India, I consistently ranked within the top-50 in the country throughout my secondary, A-level equivalents. I topped the university in the B.Sc. (Physics) examination and held a similar rank at M.Sc. (Physics).

I enjoy teaching and am particularly proud to bring students up to the highest levels of their capability, structured on their strengths and ironing out any weakness.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 20 years' experience of teaching mathematics and physics at multiple national (16 years at Aston University, 2 years at the University of Warwick) and international (2 years at the University of Delhi) centres of excellence. I have taught both of my daughters towards eleven plus success, and have also substantial experience of working with foundation and first year students at A-level mathematics.

I have the second highest teaching University level accreditation in the UK, called the Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).

Alongside teaching and research, I am a lap slide guitarist with numerous performances to credit.

Tutoring Approach

If you are that little bit concerned about my long experience as a university lecturer, suspecting that I may be more exacting than you wished, I can assure you all that I was a relaxed learner myself, an aptitude that I try to foster in my students. I believe that all students are differently abled, and as a teacher, I enjoy fostering that self-belief in my proteges. I believe in hands-on day-by-day progress instead of overnight magic. Success can be ground out through steady progress, and careful planning, that I have specialised in.

I advocate not to over-teach, rather allow students to stay within their comfort zone. As a teacher, I strive only to extend the threshold of that comfort zone.
