This is Amin, a talented Maths and Stats tutor with my own novel educational methods. I have been teaching, tutoring, and supporting numerous students all around the world and throughout my academic and teaching career.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Honoured to hold the Associate Teacher Programme (ATP) –Associate Fellowship certification,
• Research Fellow in Epidemiology and Medical Statistics,
• PhD in Management Science (Applied Mathematics and Statistics),
• BSc and MSc in Applied Mathematics with distinction.
I work as a Research Fellow at Warwick Medical School – Clinical Trials Unit (WCTU). I am also involved with some real-life trials and their state-of-the-art Statistical methodologies.
I am a supportive, patient, dedicated, friendly and calm person in teaching as well as in real life. I have won and have been nominated several times for teaching excellence, according to my students' feedback.

Tutoring Experience

My over 10 years of experience in teaching and tutoring Maths and Stats is rich and invaluable. I can tutor and help at all levels from GCSE & A-Level to the university level, undergraduate and Masters students. Throughout my educational career as a teacher and tutor, I have managed to both improve student's grades and raise their confidence in learning and tackling Maths problems. In a few cases, I have been able to change their attitude towards Maths and Stats from hate to love.

Tutoring Approach

Here is my motto: "A good maths teacher ought to be an excellent storyteller, beforehand! "
I believe that the lack of imagination about what students are being taught makes it challenging for them to learn mathematics. Hence, as a Maths teacher, I am supposed to create that imagination and provide a vivid description of what I am teaching to make the learning process more engaging and less challenging, just like what a storyteller does.
Generally, I would prefer to take a friendly and casual approach to teaching to provide a comfortable atmosphere in such a way that mutual interaction can be easily achievable. For those who have already had the first session, I usually start teaching with either a short and sweet summary of previous pertinent materials or a practical example representing the application of the topic in a wider picture.
Some of the key approaches to my personal teaching style are as follows:
• Being supportive and patient,
• Encouraging and inspiring,
• Mutual interaction and collaboration rather than passive-active roleplay,
• Step-by-step guidance and taking advantage of examples.
