I am a Psychology graduate and very successful Psychology teacher with over 13 years of teaching experience. I am currently the head of a highly successful psychology department in a secondary school in West Sussex. I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my tutoring sessions. My approach is relaxed and friendly, creating a comfortable environment for students to learn. However, rest assured, my understanding of the subject matter is extensive, and I know psychology inside out. I specialise in exam preparation, possessing a deep understanding of exam formats and questions, enabling me to swiftly improve students' exam techniques. I offer a plethora of resources tailored to various learning styles, ensuring each lesson is well-planned and delivered effectively. I mainly offer one to one sessions and these spaces are very limited. However, I am open to group sessions for suitable candidates. Sessions can be conducted either online or in person.
I qualified as a Teacher to both key stage three, key stage four and A-level in July 2011. My degree is in Psychology (Graduated from the University of Southampton in 2009) and my PGCE in Secondary Science was completed in 2011. I am currently teaching at a secondary school in West Sussex, although I provided cover and additional support at a school in Hampshire for over 2 years. I have experience of working with students with special education needs and disabilities.
As a warm, approachable, and personable educator, I am able to inspire each student to reach their fullest potential. My commitment lies in not only maximising their educational outcomes but also ensuring they enjoy the learning journey as much as possible. With an unwavering passion for the subjects I teach, my enthusiasm radiates through my tutoring sessions, creating an engaging and dynamic learning environment for all.
