I have just graduated with an MA in Acting, this year, and also have a BA in Drama and Theatre Arts. I studied English Literature, Drama and History to A Level, achieving a grade A in each, as well as taking my EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) in Drama, also achieving an A. To attain my EPQ, I created a devised performance for school children and delivered drama workshops, as well as writing extensively about my process.
I have experience in tutoring students for English Language and Literature GCSE through the MyTutor platform. I also have experience in delivering practical drama workshops to school children and have actor training in performing Shakespeare's texts.
I can help my students improve through encouragement and working out exactly where any problems lie. I like to be led by the student, asking what their specific goals are and what they would like to work on. We will go through student's questions step by step, ensuring that they understand each part of the process and breaking it down. I also encourage using learning techniques, such as memory tools, which include thinking maps, thinking hats, mnemonics, etc.
