I have always been passionate about languages and went on to study French and Marketing at Lancaster University.
Following a successful career in advertising I decided to re-train to teach English as a Foreign Language. My own children were taught languages simply to pass an exam.I was determined to put the passion back into language learning whilst maintaining academic rigour and delivering exam success.
I gained my CELTA teaching qualification from Brooklands College in Weybridge in May 2014. Since qualifying I have taught at a private Japanese boarding school and am currently teaching at Surrey Adult Learning colleges. I have experience in teaching the Cambridge English exams as well as ESOL. I have a 100% pass rate.
Whilst text books are a useful springboard I aim to bring my lessons to life by immersing students in British culture and current affairs to ensure that they are always relevant and stimulating. My lessons are tailor- made to reflect the needs and interests of the individual students
Lessons are multimedia ,multi-sensory challenging and fun!
