Tutoring Experience

I have worked as a piano and music theory teacher at Trinity College Kandy, one of the most prestigious schools in Sri Lanka. I have more than 4 years of experience teaching music and teaching music online!

I have been playing the piano since I was 7. So I have 14 years of experience doing music.

My qualifications- ABRSM Grade 1-8 (Piano)
ABRSM Grade 1-8 (Theory)
ABRSM 1st diploma (ARSM)

Tutoring Approach

All lessons are done via Zoom.

First lesson - 30 minutes (for free)

I always plan my lessons and create my plans on a weekly basis. I start my plans by selecting the core standards that I want to introduce to students that week, separate each subfield, and teach them during the class in an effective manner. I will give homework each week, mark them before the class, and email them to the students to do the corrections and ensure they are prepared for each lesson.
