Hello everyone! My name is Alice and I am so excited to become a tutor on firsttutors.com!
I am very passionate about languages and since living in Madrid, Spain, I have learnt to speak Spanish fluently and would love to share my passion and knowledge on to you guys in the UK! Luckily, I also have teaching experience as I have been teaching English in Madrid for over 2 years, so I am well equipped to help you smash that Spanish exam or just learn for fun.

In addition, as I have a strong intuition for Mathematics and a degree in Mathematics, this is something I also want to help people with and so I am offering tutoring sessions for Mathematics also.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught English to students in Spain for over 2 years. I have taught children from 3 years old through to high school students (all years up to the end of sixth form!). I have also taught adults in Spain who want to improve their english. I hold a TEFL teaching qualification which allows me to teach english as a foreign language.
I have picked up a lot of tips on the way and would love to share that whilst teaching Spanish! As a former student of GCSE Spanish myself, this is something that I would be able to help you with and explain in a very obvious way from someone who has done the exam and later learnt the language properly.

As I have a strong intuition for Mathematics and a degree in Mathematics, this is something I also want to help people with. I have tutored Maths back in high school and have always looked to be a mentor for younger studentts.

Tutoring Approach

My approach will depend on your goals: whether that be to pass a GCSE exam or just learn a new skill.
I will combine exam practice with real life examples and some fun games to keep interest and solidify knowledge that we have learnt together.
