I am a young, charismatic and experienced Producer and Musician, with a raw and passionate enthusiasm for teaching, learning and harnessing the potential in others. I have been working in the music industry for 6 years as an Artist, Producer, Session Musician and Teacher, successfully creating a selection of freelance streams and opportunities that have enabled me to enhance and develop my skillset.

Tutoring Experience

In 2018, I was hired by my previous school as a Lecturer and Music Tutor for a Summer Contemporary Music Course, during which I delivered two, 1 hour Lectures on the techniques and practices used in Popular Music Song Writing and Production, as well as further group tuition sessions with students where I was able to demonstrate what I had laid out in my lecture.

During the ongoing pandemic, I have also (where possible) been able to offer one to one tuition for both Music Production and Guitar, on a casual basis, which I am hoping to build on further.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching approach is always based on a simple premise, which is to let the student decide how and what they would like to learn, and to a realistic degree, allow the student to dictate the direction of their learning process. I have found that allowing a student to approach a tutor with a personal incentive to learn already established, is highly effective and a fast rewarding process for both the student and myself. The approach takes into account personal interests, tastes, and specifics applicable to that student at the start of the learning process which allows me to then shape and plan a lesson structure tailor made for that student. My approach, so far, has left me with satisfied students!
