I am an energetic and open-minded person who is always looking to develop both social and practical skills. Having been raised in an international setting, I am very passionate about the subjects I want to teach, and am trying to study Mandarin and English Literature at Durham University in September.

Tutoring Experience

I have no formal work experience, but in doing community service I have found many opportunities to teach. As well as a learning support scheme for dyslexic primary school children, I ran Chinese clinics and poetry analysis workshops during the sixth form.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that when learning new material, confidence is key. By overcoming any issues of confidence in a subject, students can become more focused on long term goals, and will able to take a more relaxed and healthy approach to their revision.
