Alexander cancelled through illness so I am unable to leave any comment

Alex only visited us twice. My son had had a change in his school tutor for organic chemistry a few months ago and felt he could do with some extra help as he wanted to achieve an A* at a level. Alex was very nice. He arrived on time on both occasions. Our son said that he was a great teacher as he explained things in a way that was very understandable. He was very enthusiastic and they worked really well together. We had to cancel Alex due to Covid19. Hoping that Alex can help our our son with his gcses.

Alex was an excellent tutor! He helped my daughter improve by two grades in a year. She was able to understand his methods much better than the ones taught at school. He is a very organised tutor who doesn’t teach from the textbook (unlike so many of the tutors my daughter tried before). Couldn’t recommend him enough!

Alex tutored me in Chemistry for most of my second year of A levels and massively improved my confidence and skill in the subject. I always looked forward to lessons because Alex has an amazing ability to make a difficult subject actually fascinating and fun. After just a few sessions I found myself reading about chemistry and enjoying my homework (!!) after initially hating the subject. I am now looking to study chemistry at university which I never thought I would want to do. Alex puts in so much effort to ensure you understand concepts and are learning to the best of your ability. I would recommend him to anyone.

I find Alex to be a focused tutor who is polite, punctual and strives to ensure that their tutee achieves the best they possibly can. Not all new tutor/tutee relationships are guaranteed to work and unfortunately being tutored by Alex is not working for my daughter.

My daughter, whilst able in most subjects, was struggling in maths and lacked confidence. We employed Alex for an entire academic year, one session a week. My daughter slowly began to grow in confidence and ability, her modular exam scores began to improve, and it culminated in a final exam score that has allowed her to progress to further education in the subjects she wanted. Alex has a plan to get the best out of his students and he's polite, reliable and punctual. Highly recommended!

I was extremely pleased with Alex, he was always punctual, well organised and managed his tuition time well. My daughters confidence in Chemistry improved greatly, thanks to Alex.

Alexander helps you to understand topics rather than simply memorizing a syllabus like some schools teach students to do. He's always on-time and prepared. Overall a very good tutor and has helped me to feel more confident about my chemistry.

Alex has been giving chemistry tuition for my daughter for A2 for the last few months. He is very prompt, well mannered and very thorough in his approach. My daughter has benefitted immensely from his tution (with her saying that she used to struggle with following chemistry in school to being confident in chemistry). She has improved in her confidence and performance in the class tests. I would strongly recommend Alex for one to one tuition in chemistry.

Fantastic chemistry tutor. Alex is able to effectively tailor his approach to the needs of the individual. I am currently studying A2 chemistry and have found his tutoring extremely beneficial to improving my understand of the course. His sessions are well structured and thoroughly engaging. I would definitely recommend him as a first chemistry tutor for anyone requiring help with As/A2 Chemistry.

Alexander is professional, polite and a great teacher.I definitely would refer him. He has given my son confidence in his work & he is always ready to listen & help.

We are only a few weeks into having Alexs help - but both my daughter and I are very happy with Alex to date. He is prompt and professional and has an execellent approach to learning and building confidence. My daughter likes his teaching style and he "gets straight in there" so the time is utilised well. Have asked Alex to provide sessions up to her re-sit in November and I am feeling very positive that Alex will help her get a B (if not an A).

I've had a tutor before who I thought was good however Alexander is another league. Only few sessions in but I'm very impressed. I am starting to have a better understanding of maths because he explains the subject very well. I feel little more confident about GCSE maths.

He is punctual & polite. I would recommend him.

Alex teaches very good. Good punctuality, and is very respectful, I think he is a very good teacher because he nakes it easy to understand subjects.

Alex has tried to help my son regain his confidence in Chemistry AS and looked at exam techniques. He has been very professional in his approach - organised and thorough and his time keeping is excellent. Overall the whole tutoring experience to date has been a very positive experience for my son who feels his confidence and understanding of Chemistry is now at a high level. We now await the exam results of course but the ground work covered by Alex and his approach has been very good. I would indeed recommend him to other potential parents looking for a suitable tutor.

My son is really enjoying the tution from Alexander. he has the skill to break down the info into simple
basics which makes it easier for the student to understand.
