Hello, My name is Alex. I am a Private Piano Teacher based in Canary Wharf. I teach in person and online.

I've always had a passion for Music and I enjoy passing on my knowledge to my students.

I've been playing piano since the age of 6 years old.
I am now 25 years old.

I am very respectful, friendly, patient and understand the importance in giving my students the confidence they need to achieve their goals.

Tutoring Experience

I've been teaching for 7 years.
I have experience performing Live on stage, Performing Live on radio stations and have had Live interviews on radio.

Tutoring Approach

When I teach my students I assess and formulate a programme of teaching according to each student's ability with the aim of making them become an all round piano player. I teach all ages.

The teaching is based upon the essential fundamentals of piano playing.

This will cover things like, scales, arpeggios, posture, hand & finger positioning etc.
Most importantly ear training will be taught which will help the student to learn any song they want independently just by listening to it.

This will also help with improvisation, songwriting and performance.

Learning this way will allow the following individual to play in their own style so they won't sound like someone else.
They will be recognized as their own name instead of someone else's name when people listen.

If my student is willing to practice everything we cover in our lessons on a weekly basis, I can guarantee their goals of becoming a professional piano player will be accomplished.

I always make sure my lessons are productive, fun and always make sure when the lesson finishes my students feel happy and proud of what they have achieved.
