Further to a Singing Diploma in Musical Theatre (MT) London College of Music, I graduated from the prestigious Urdang Academy (London) with a BA Hons Degree in MT and Professional Dance. I am a professional singer-songwriter with the ability to play guitar and piano I have performed live gigs at local venues. On and off the stage since I was 13 yrs. old. recent shows include: EVITA UK Tour and Copacabana. I also performed most recently in UrineTown The Musical at the Bernie Arts Theatre (London).

Tutoring Experience

5 years of teaching experience. Whether students want to extend their vocal range, polish songs for an exam or need extra confidence to stand on a stage, I see myself as the facilitator. I provide students with the tools and skills for strengthening the voice, show them breathing techniques, my tuition is in a safe and professional way and environment. I firmly believe everyone can sing to a high standard and all singers can develop further regardless of their existing ability. All levels and age groups are welcome. Singing is inclusive, whether you want to sing solo, in a choir, with an audience or just at home !

Tutoring Approach

My approach begins with an assessment and understanding of your voice. Its difficult to say my approach as every student has their different needs and that's why I specialise in making my classes as tailored and bespoke as possible. Once the individual has been analysed the following points will be worked on and implemented.
I will be using and making my student more aware of my successful method of the magic 3 (vocal health, Attitude and Experience).
Vocal health is important because it can affect your voices tone, quality and technique and in worse cases it can slow down the students progression and can possibly lead to a lack of confidence. Vocal Health doesn’t just include healthy vocal folds but a healthy mind. A strong mind is a strong body. This leads me on to my next point. Attitude, this can be a make or break in singing. It takes a lot of confidence and courage to start but also to pursue it. I've been blessed with APD (Audio Processing Disorder) which has made my lifestyle as well as singing experience super challenging but I know that if I can do it anyone can. Because of my APD I've had to repeat things 10x more than most people but without constant repetition, strong mindset and a positive attitude there will be no successful result. I definitely agree with somedays being slow and demotivated however you don’t lose without some gain just like you can’t get a rainbow without a bit of rain. My next point Is Experience. Experience goes hand in hand with exposure. In order to learn new singing skills, gain confidence and understand vocal performance I reccomend performers to step outside of singing at home or with a vocal coach and get involved in shows, choirs, bands or maybe just local jam sessions. What makes my lessons so valuable is that I save you the stress of going outside and trying to find new experiences. I can bring it to your doorstep and give you a further technical understanding which I've learned in my career which in result saves your time and money. The best sense of achievement starts with an idea and thats why my classes are something you should consider.
