I am commonly known as Dr Akos (MBChB, BSc Hons) and I am currently a GP trainee in England. I have a degree in Medicine and Biochemistry. I also studied Maths, Chemistry, Biology, and Sociology at A Level in London. I am a fluent speaker of English and enjoy reading and writing in my spare time. I also freelance as a presenter and have good command of the English language.
In terms of tutoring, I have been a tutor all the way through colleger (20120 to currently (2022). I have tutored and mentored a number of students from various backgrounds. I have experience in tutoring and mentoring especially Secondary School students as I did this part-time alongside being a University student. I am also part of a mentoring organisation (BMS) which enables me not only to act as a role model to University students but also to teach.
Further, I own my own tutoring company with employed tutors who teach theoretical medical classes. I have experience teaching OSCE sessions online to students who would want to come to the UK to write their PLABS or NMC exams.
I tailor my sessions to the student's needs. I therefore always have a free initial consultation with my tutee to elicit their needs and tailor my approach towards them. I teach online mostly but I'm open to discussing face-to-face if necessary.
