I have a Physics degree and two masters in business and work psychology. I have being teaching Mathematics, Physics and General Science for more than 10 years from Elementary School to University Level.
I am able to offer individual and small group tuition in Mathematics and Physics with an approach specially designed for each student needs.
I can also offer general education and career advice and also give the application of each subject in day to day living and future careers.
I Presently lecture part-time at the University of Brighton. I have teaching experiences at various levels from Primary to Tertiary in Nigeria and with the University College London; I have first-hand experience and an understanding of the expectations involved in Teaching at the lower level and Lecturing in the Higher institution of learning. I have also being involved in Classroom Management, curriculum planning and development, in addition to assessing, marking & providing feedback to Students.
In addition, I have been involved in designing and developing learning materials for various schools I have been attached to and for the training institute I work with.
At the University College London, I delivered seminars on soft skills of project management like team building and bonding, motivation and staff engagement and practical workshop on Microsoft Planning tool for effective project planning, evaluating, monitoring and control. During my Masters at the University of Nottingham, I was a volunteer student trainer for the student union associations on various topics like planning for trips, motivating team members, budgeting and team building and bonding.
In Nigeria, I was a part-time Physics and Mathematics Tutor where I lectured and taught Secondary, pre-university and undergraduates students
I believe formal and informal education are means of influencing, changing and developing societal norms. I adopt a friendly and interactive approach to teaching where students are constant engaged using real life application of their environment, application of each subject to the external environment and a feedback approach to assessment.
My students are encouraged to express themselves and push harder to obtained their desired goals
