Aisha

I am a qualified Primary teacher with 7 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I have a PGCE in Primary Education and a BA (hons) in English Language and Literature (First class). I have tutored privately in a range of subjects, including Maths, English and Science. I have extensive experience in preparing students for SATS, entrance exams and GCSE's.

My greatest asset is being able to support students to grow in confidence by creating personalised and individualised learning experiences. I endeavour to make tutoring sessions effective, engaging and tailored to the students' individual learning needs. Due to the pandemic, I have experience in teaching remotely and adapting the curriculum to create an immersive and inclusive online learning environment that encourages all learners to progress and meet their targets.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a Primary teacher for 6 years. I have experience teaching in early years, as well as across KS1 and KS2. I have extensive experience tutoring year 6 children in preparation for SATs and GCSE students in preparation for their GCSE English examinations.

Tutoring Approach

I adopt a learner-centred approach to teaching and am guided by students' interests and learning needs. I am adaptable and flexible in my approach and often use humour to engage students.
