Hello! My name is Ahmed and I’m a passionate and experienced tutor with over 10 years of helping students of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds achieve their goals. Watching my students grow in confidence and succeed academically is immensely fulfilling for me.
I hold a First Class Honours Master’s degree (MEng) in Electronic and Communications Engineering from the University of Bristol. Currently, I work as a Senior Software Engineer at Octopus Energy, but teaching has always been a significant part of my journey.
Beyond academics, I’m a creative individual with a deep love for music, performing arts, and street dancing.
Mathematics: Building strong foundations and confidence in problem-solving.
Computer Science: Specializing in Mobile App Development using Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android).
My ultimate goal as a tutor is to help students believe in themselves and develop a love for learning. I believe education goes beyond academic achievement—it’s about equipping students with the mindset and tools to approach challenges in both their studies and life.
Here’s how I ensure effective learning:
Personalized Learning - I take the time to understand each student’s unique needs and learning style. By tailoring my approach, I ensure every lesson resonates with them.
Simplifying Complex Concepts - I break down difficult topics into manageable and easy-to-understand building blocks. My students often tell me how concepts they once found intimidating become surprisingly simple and approachable.
Fostering Confidence - By creating a supportive environment, I help students overcome their fears and enjoy the learning process.
Listening and Adapting - I prioritize active listening to truly understand my students and adapt my teaching style to best support them.
