I am a qualified teacher with experience working across the school age. Having worked with students with a wide range of needs, I enjoy adapting the way I teach to meet the needs of each student. I have high expectations of all students that I work with and feel that all students can succeed provided they have the correct support to meet their needs.
I have 8 years working in education and childcare. I have worked as a tutor and primary school teacher. I have experience of working with children with SEN and have tutored children aged 5-18 years.
I also have a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and an MA in Music (Performance) and am confident tutoring up to A-Level in Music and to undergraduate degree level in Psychology.
My approach is very dependent on the pupil's needs.
I first meet with a new student and assess their needs then put plans into place to ensure that they make the progress they are capable of.
When working with my younger students, I aim to make lessons as fun as possible in order to maintain their concentration for the lesson. This usually involves using a mixture of resources, activities and games.
I offer online lessons via zoom.
