First impressions from Mr are excellent and our son is looking forward to working with him for the next few years for his GCSE and A levels. Would strongly recommend him!

Update June 2024

Abdur, tutored our son for maths and ad maths for 2 years in the run up to GCSEs. We could not be happier with him and STRONGLY recommend him. He has been very methodical and thorough but at the same time very humane and understanding. Abdur, clearly has a wealth of experience which can make the difference between a good and an excellent tutor.

Abdur is an excellent tutor who is helping my daughter prepare for her GCSE exams. He focuses on areas where my daughter needs to improve and boosts her confidence for the exam. We would highly recommend him as a tutor!

My son states that Abdur is great teacher. He enjoys his lessons and after each lessons he enail homework given my don yhe opportunity to practice more. I am not sure yet how much this helping my boy his exam is next week however hecstates that he is feeling more confident and prepared.

He provides extensive types and quantity of maths questions which are very useful in practising skills. The advice given is extremely useful in solving questions and provides shortcuts in maths.

Abdur is helping my daughter with A Level Maths and built her confidence in the areas she has struggled with. My daughter always says he explains topics very well and ensures that understands the mathematical concepts, which is very helpful. In addition to this, he has a calm and relaxed manner. He is also very flexible. I would be more than happy to recommend him to others.

My daughter is Year 7 and really enjoys having lessons with Mr . She said every one hour she learns full of new knowledge and challenges are fun. Abdur is a very good and professional teacher!

Abdur has impressed us with his highly professional approach to teaching.He is a very honest man. My Son loves the sessions and Abdur is very helpful for my son for his Maths, with the structure so lacking in his class lessons. Abdur is organised, knowledgeable and genuinely supports the learner to progress by having a good insight in learning styles. He is also proactive when dealing with problematic areas, which need addressing promptly. My son has more confidence now .

I have only had a few lessons but have grown in so much confidence over the last few weeks with my maths. I’m currently doing A level maths and am so happy with my lessons. Abdur always puts all the content from in the lesson on a word document with some homework of exam style questions which really helps to test my application and increase confidence. Could not recommend enough.

The lesson did happen as the tutor covers A level maths instead of A level Further Maths. He was honest that there was a misunderstanding when I shared what needs to be covered.

Abdur has been really helpful with supporting my son to revise for GCSE Maths. We have had about 4 sessions. He has been patient with us and flexible with slots to revise weekly.

He has a professional manner through email. He speaks clearly over the virtual meeting. He is patient with my son and re-explains where necessary.
Abdur sets homework and expects it to be sent back before the following session.

He shows the student how he is working out maths questions and ensures they understands. He also send the work back (via email) they have revised each session.

Abdur is an excellent tutor. My daughter has had some learning difficulties at school, in particular with maths, and was anxious about having a tutor. Abdur set my daughter’s mind at ease from the first meeting. He makes the lessons engaging and fun, and we have seen some great results. I highly would recommend Abdur as a maths tutor.

GCSE Maths. Abdur is a fantastic tutor. I would highly recommend Mr Abdur as we are really very pleased with his Maths services. He has been teaching Maths to my son over a year when my son was really struggling with Maths and but with Abdur’s teaching I have seen significant improvement and his grades have been improved a lot.

Abdur is s great teacher. The children are pleased with the pace that is set and feel the sessions are great reinforcement for their school work and they can work ahead and do extra as required. I would certainly recommend him.

Abdur has tutored my daughter (year 13) since 1 month and the first achievement is very good: my daughter got now better understanding of worded problems and better confidence when dealing with exam papers in exam condition! My son got a D in his maths mock GCSE, so we enlisted the help of Abdur. I can proudly say that with Abdur's tutoring my son achieved a B in maths.

Abdur is an excellent maths teacher with a very lovely personality. He is currently helping my son with A-level maths. My son says he is brilliant, he explains difficult concepts using actual examples, questions and past papers. In the recent parents evening, the prediction was an A, the teachers said with a bit more effort there is no reason why an A* cannot be achieved even though the school decided not do AS.

Now she has decided to continue with mathematics for A level. We highly recommend Abdur as a mathematics tutor .

I am very happy so far with Abdur. He is punctual and efficient. My son has only had a couple of lessons but Abdur has been identifying his weaknesses and also his strengths which is encouraging.

I have been working with Abdur as an adult learner with a view to preparing for an engineering degree.

I have found Abdur to be very patient and able to explain subjects and concepts in varying ways to ensure that I fully understand and can then continue to study alone. Between tutoring sessions, he has been very supportive and keeps in contact to ensure that I'm on track and making progress.
