I believe that music is an amazing tool for the mind and works wonders for your well-being. Whether you have casual or more serious goals, I can tailor an approach to suite your needs in a fun, zero pressure environment. It can be tough playing in front of a tutor but believe me, great teachers only have their students best interests at heart. Progress can be made with as little as 10 minutes practice, just 3 times per week!
Experience is essential to good teaching and I have 10 years under my belt teaching professionally both in schools and privately. I currently hold a roster of about 40 students in guitar, vocals, bass and ukelele. It's important that your tutor can give you real world experience. That's why I continue to play live regularly in various projects for which you can ask about when we make contact.
You need to trust who you're being taught by too, that's why I have completed CPD certified child protection course, am fully DBS checked and hold a BMus (Hons) Degree from The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance. I'm also a member of the Musicians Union and my rates are based on their recommended guidelines.
I work to build musical knowledge and technique through the use of exercises, songs and various syllabuses including Rock School, Trinity Guildhall and RGT grades. Whether you're a serious player or just in it for fun, my job as a professional Musician and teacher is to tailor lessons to suite your individual needs as a learner and make things as fun for you as possible!
