Information About Shayla - Clonee tutor

Personal Description:

Hi! My name is Sejla (pronounced Shayla) and I am 28 years old. I'm originally from Bosnia-Herzegovina but have been in Ireland for 26 years! I am very passionate about English and have been since primary school when I fell in love with reading. I had consistently received the highest grades in English throughout school and finished the Leaving Certificate with an A1 in Higher Level English. Since then, my interest in the language has only grown and I'm so excited to share that love and knowledge with you.
As I am originally from BiH, I can speak fluent Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian and have recently started learning Korean too. Should any of these be your native language, I can certainly incorporate that into the lessons.
Besides that, I love to travel, go on hikes and of course, to read. I hope to get to know you soon too!

Tutoring Experience:

I have no official teaching experience but I did offer lessons to students sitting the Leaving Certificate the year after I completed it. I found it very rewarding and interesting to see the different components that different people struggle with. As such, I can help with personal/creative writing, reading comprehension, grammar and spelling, business English and anything else that might be difficult for you.

Approach to Grinds:

My approach will differ depending on the student and their needs. In the introductory lesson, I would like to conduct a needs analysis to find out what your experience with English is, what your goals are and what you're more struggling with. From there, we can figure out the lessons together and build them around methods that work best for your learning style and that will ensure you get what you need from them!
