Personal Description:
A master’s graduate who is passionate about applying environmental field and laboratory experiences, as well as experiences in facilitating educational and community outreach programs, to teaching STEM and Health based subject to the children and youth of Canada. I’m also open to casually tutoring university level students and adults in the STEM field.
Tutoring Experience:
A museum hands-on biodiversity facilitator volunteer where I teach children about native animals and plants in Canada. I have taught students from Grades 1-10 a wide range of Math and Science subjects such as science and technology, chemistry, biology, elementary math and algebra. I also have experience in taught university level students on various environmental science laboratory skillsets.
Tutoring Approach:
I can provide lecture-based tutoring style for students who wants to advance their knowledge of math and science topics before its taught in class by developing a subject syllabus and worksheets based on the Ontario Curriculum of the Grade Level. I can also provide assistance to students who have difficulty in understanding the assigned homework or worksheets provided to them by the school as requested.
